The Chronic-WHAT?!-cles of Narnia
We now have the keys to our new apartment. Went to check it out this weekend, and it looks lovely with our new walls built. They also laid new tile in the kitchen and replaced our fridge. Now, we're just waiting on doors to be put on our enormous living room closet. Super exciting...
Matt and I went crazy domestic on Saturday and went to Target to pick out a new duvet cover, sheets, storage options, etc. We got a sweet duvet cover that is all white with two, centered columns of 2ft in diameter circles in black, dark grey, light grey, and bright grass green; we're pairing it will black sheets and it looks badass. Plus it's actually good quality (for once). We decided to do it right this time and go for quality instead of just whatever's cheapest. We still only spent like $100 on the duvet, two shams, and sheet set, so that's not bad. Then we took it to Home Depot to match the green circles. We're painting one wall bright green and then we have circular mirrors and a huge, white circular picture frame that will go on the green wall. We're pretty sweet.
I'm hoping to go pick out a new bedframe soon...that's the last piece of furniture that we need to buy a quality version of!! haha. We have a nice desk, bookshelf, mattress, tv, etc...just a bedframe. I'm hoping to get one from IKEA. =)
I feel sick-ish.
Dude, my poor brother. He had three exams today...science, math, and history. All on the same day! I'm so not jealous...oh high school.
I start training a new partner at Sbux tomorrow...his name is Hugh. haha. Love it.
Caitlin comes back from South Africa on Wednesday and she's bringing me South African wine. Yummm!!!
Okay, time to get ready for bedtime. Matt gets home in about a half an hour so I wanted to stay up and wait. I needed to do something to stay awake because I opened this morning and have, thus, been up since 300am. eww.
