A Change of Epic Proportions

So, I went out to April Lamb's 21st birthday party Saturday night. Made the rounds, greeting people, chatting, drinking something that does not have the words "light" or "lite" in it. Generally having a good time. I run into Lauren Bickers, who has finally stopped dancing for a bit.
After the usual "hey, how're you doing":
"Can I shave off your beard, like, right now"?--Bic
"I don't know, I like my beard."--Me
"C'mon, it'll be hot."--Bic

Shane and Zana both agree. I get dragged up to an empty bathroom, and while Bic, Zana, and Shane argue with Caleb, Larry, and Max as to whether or not I should do it ("DON'T DO IT! That's the source of your power!"--Caleb), I weigh my options.

1)I've had this thing for two+ years. I'm used to it, so's everyone else.
2)I've had this thing for two+ years. It's kinda time for something new.

And so I agreed.

Enjoy that picture above, because from here on out, it's a journey through the magical world of shaving.

Lauren makes the first cut.

Trimming everything down.

Still a respectable beard.

The shaving begins.

The chin can be tricky...

Taking matters into my own hands.

It's actually happening...

Lauren puts on the finishing touches.

A job well done. Shane is in shock.

Lauren presents the new and improved me.

I am now super smooth...

The night then consisted of everyone being surprised the beard was gone, and digging the new look. And much revelry was had by all.
I got home and crashed into my bed at about 4:30 in the a.m.

Spent today in a much less exciting fashion: cleaned my room, did laundry, and saw V for Vendetta, which I thought was great.

The coming week consists of: me trying to pull at least one interview together, me ACing (Assistant Cameraman) on set, me acting again, and !Spice! coming up this Friday!
