serious corruption.

Lately, my heart is hurting. Recently, I have become more aware of things (problems) in the world, and I just feel like there are so many people who are looking for so many different things. The overall result is that everything in the world is getting consistently worse and consistently more acceptable. I realized this when I saw the Levi's commercial and again when I learned that today more money is spent annually on explicit sex that on pro-football, baseball, and basketball combined. It is interesting, because people are starting to realize that certain things aren't satisfying them and they are demanding more and more of those things (think sex appeal, money, 'stuff,' or even fast food) to reach satisfaction. I would go on to say the logical course of action after realizing something is not going to satisfy you even when you fill more and more of your life with it would be to cut it out and find something that is satisfying one hundred percent of the time instead of continuing to just add more and more thinking quantity will result in quality. It is just crazy to me how things that at one point were viewed as bad can become viewed as okay and then acceptable (example: the progression of things shown on television, namely, language, violence, drug use, alcohol use, and sex). How did this happen? In case there is confusion, let it be known that sin is not becoming okay. So why is the world getting worse and why aren't we (or why am I not) working hard enough to turn it around?
