While this wasn't my first choice of song to vid my first Nuke video to. I had no other choice once I found out that most of my clips were freezing up Sony Vegas. I lost out on a lot of clips that could have been used. Anyways, I was left with a good amount of episodes still. I decided to just go for this song and shorten it into a vidlet. I'm very glad I went ahead and made this. I think it's actually a very good song choice for my first Nuke vid, simply because I was able to explain what happened around when Luke & Noah first met and what it led to after that.
The first clip I put on the timeline was what really got me into this vid (which was the hand touching at "Tender, Soft"). I loved the way it flowed so thats where all the over amount of transitions plays in. Everything was running very smoothly when I was making this. In fact, this has been the easiest video to piece together that I have ever made in a really long time. I think what made it also so easy was the fact that I'm on this Nuke high that I doubt will die down anytime soon.
In case you don't know Nuke, here is what story the vid was focusing on. OBVIOUSLY this is a SPOILER!! I have warned you!!!! Nah, it's ok, feel free to read before watching. I'm going to make it short and sweet: Luke meets Noah and ends up falling for him, but Noah has a new girlfriend named Maddie. As the days go by, Noah starts to have feelings for Luke, but denies that he is gay. Stuff happens and Maddie finally finds out that Noah has feelings for Luke, so obviously Maddie leaves Noah. Once Noah comes out he finally starts to let Luke into his life and forms a relationship with him. AWWW, doesn't that sound precious?? :P
For the ending, I was going to add in where Luke wakes up and says, "Did that happen?" meaning that he dreamed it all, but I decided to not do that. It would have been so random, lol and probably would have made someone go "wtf"???? I get these crazy ideas sometimes. Don't kill me for it :P.
Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the little vid. More Nuke vids to come in the future and I mean, ones that will blow this vid right out of the water :D.
