My visit to the dentist this afternoon cost me a whole R22 (100NT). This for a polish, clean, scrape, fix-up, tinker and to plug a small hole. The last time I went to the dentist, exactly the same service cost me R650! Of course that was back home in South Africa.
Conversely, on the other hand, my visit to the hairdresser cost R100 (500NT). This for a cut, wash and blow.
I don't get it. Did I miss a meeting? When did a dentist's service cost five times less than a hairdresser's? I'm guessing, if it's a toss-up between bleaching my Jewlocks and whitening my teeth, the teeth will be white before my hair...
