Yes Subject, I am.
Well, let's see, after about four ljs, which most of you undoubtedly were not aware of, I actually think I have sometime to start a personal one again. And update it frequently.
I swear.
Anyways, some new information!
I've somehow stumbled upon two new j-pop groups, well they're not new, they're just new to me. The first one is very Pillows-ish, with borderline j-pop music. There's some screaming, but good screaming. Asian Kung-Fu Generation. If you're looking for mp3s, you'll probably only find two, (Haruka Kanata and Mirai No Katera.) Their first full-length doesn't come out for another month. I'll get to release dates in a second.
Then there's Bump Of Chicken. Yes that's their name. I believe the band consists of four guys, the frontman having a rather unique voice. The majority of their songs aren't exactly my flavor of Ramen (tm,) but there are a few I've fallen in love with.
Oh and by the way, apparently AKG did the second opening song for the anime Naruto, in case any were interested. Unfortunately, that's where most of their fanbase hails from, like FLCL-Otaku with The Pillows. And unfortunately, it's how I discovered AKG. Sadness.
Okay, now for some up-coming album releases to watch for. A thanks to
one_suger_dream for the actual dates.
The Pillows | Penalty Life. 11.06.03.
This one promises to be even more of a out-of-the-norm style. Look forward to it.
Asian Kung-Fu Generation | Kunkei Five M. 11.19.03.
This is what I was talking about. If the entire album turns out like the songs I've heard, I'll be hooked for good.
Gackt | Crescent. 12.03.03.
His quality is off and on, but this one is sounding good so far. *Pulls on fur suit, and starts singing.*
Maaya Sakamoto | Shonen Alice. 12.11.03.
Whoever Alice is, she better be teh hottness. Anyways, if j-pop is your thing, this is a must-get. Must.
What else...what else...? Oh, I'm trying to get a pattent for my Chicken Matties. See, they're sort of like chicken patties, only shaped in several of my awesome poses. I expect all of you to eat them with sauce, but using a safe amount. No drowing. 'Cause like...what if they're voo-doo dolls of me or something?
...
Oh, and finally, I'm mad. I was at
Stevie's a long time ago, and left my DDR memory card there. Her widdle brother Doug messed it up, which I really didn't have a problem with. I got most of the songs unlocked again. But then, like two weeks ago, I started playing it again, (I had a craving for Rythmn And Police and Candy,) and the data was corrupted. Again. Except now it's corrupted for good. So nothing can be saved when I turn off the PS2 for the night. I cried, melted, and drowned.
