That's my Scotrail affair all tied up as of today.

I got a letter a week ago with the big apology on it. Was a specific letter and not just a generic 'print file' one which was decent. As it had taken them longer than 7 days to get back to me they gave me a fiver worth of rail vouchers. And they asked to send my ticket that was valid for the journey in question. I sent them a copy (I keep my tickets) plus a copy of my travel card.

Scotrails passenger charter (note for everyone) is that they will compensate up to half your ticket price if you are over half an hour late. So I got another £2 voucher today.

May not sound like much, and a lot of hassle but £7 from about 3 minutes work is quite good.

Better off my next monthly £130odd ticket than with them.

And as I don't get any recourse at work for being late I say it's all win! :-D
