A Happier Post

So here's a less emo post to make up for yesterday's post. First off, in the past month, two new historicals, Marie-Grace and Cécile, have been announced. I'm really intrigued by the book format they're going with the characters; two characters sharing the spotlight by having three books each. I sort of wish they both had six books each, but I'm interested to see where they go with it, and if any of the books will follow the story format of the old books (FYI the old format was pretty much 'introduction, school, Christmas, Happy Birthday, awesome summer adventure, and some sort of closure to the story in winter'. Even with the newer books they followed the same formula somewhat). Alas, if the scans I've seen indicate anything, the books will come out in September, AKA long after I've left the States. Sigh.

My blanket project is going great. I'm expanding the size of some of the squares but at the moment, it's already big enough to cover someone. The blanket works better as a shawl than a normal bed blanket, but it could still work either way. I still need the yellow and orange yarn, though, and I haven't found much varied shades for either color here in Holland, so I may need to wait until I go to the States to find some. Not that I'm sure Michaels will have three different shades of yellow and orange yarn, though....

Nuzlocke news: Comic-wise, I'm hoping to include both Team Plasma events (Munna and Poke-kidnapping), the Cheren battle (quick as hell), and my next two catches. It feels like it's taking forever to get through this chapter, though....

Game-wise: I'm just about ready to face the Elite Four for the first time. Yes, I'm taking my time with this Nuzlocke run in-game. Fits in with the fact I'm taking my time with the comic pace. When I reach this moment in-comic, though, I'll say it took place in spring-time so summer-time can be dedicated to the post-game events.
