...So let's pretend today was my last post's "yesterday" and have me show off Professor Layton doll pictures.
Layton enjoys a cup of tea while noting down it's recipe in his book. I was hoping the table would be a bit bigger so the MH dolls could join him, but it's too small :(
The stand the Professor came with, along with the brick floor. That's not actually the same cup as before in his hands. This cup has the tea slightly 'tilted', as if someone was drinking out of it. It's a cool touch!
And my personal favorite....
Professor Layton without a face. I love creepy-looking doll pictures.

The first week back felt miserable. Every morning I woke up was pitch black and the rest of the day was cloudy. School immediately had stuff for me to do, and for art our picture is due next Wednesday. My last two art pieces got low grades, partly due to poor research, so I tired putting in what I felt was I think is enough/good research. But I have a sinking feeling I'm going to get a crap grade again on research this time. And to top it off, I cried two times today, all because of my asshole brother. But in a unusual move for him, he actually apologized for making me cry. Huh. Guess even though he's still an asshole, he is getting better at being nice.
The entire week wasn't that entirely bad, though. First off, I ended up helping at the snack table at my school's talent show yesterday and it was pretty fun. I was actually supposed to be ushering, but I was doing nothing and everyone at the snack table was too busy chatting to get any work done. I also started setting myself time limits on the computer (one hour each weekdays, two hours on weekends) to help break my addiction to the interwebz. This means that with the extra time not spent on the web, I've spent reading (okay, I've only been reading BSC books for the most part, but it's been a while since I've picked them up). I've read "Thanks to Nicki", a book a lot of fellow AG fans don't seem to like. I liked how it handled Nicki saying goodbye to Sprockett, but Nicki seemed out of character (I know she learnt how to say no in the first book, but she still seemed too...forward? Something similar to that), the 'BBF' problem wasn't very interesting at all, and the whole 'male teacher I HATE HIM RIGHT AWAY CAUSE HE'S A GUY' deal was stupid. But saying goodbye to Sprockett was the biggest part of the book so while it's not the best AG book, it's not the worst.
So yeah. Today was the first sunny day of the week, and I hope the next week will be sunnier.
