Hello good friend,

I've been away for a while and I have lots to talk about.

First, I went to LA and Las Vegas. Disneyland is the tackiest, ugliest place in the whole fucking world. Never do I want to return there. California in general was amazing. The city is great and the flora is beautiful. The people on the other hand are phony and really stressed out. My sister's biological father is a perfect example. All I ever saw him do was talk on his mobile, order cesar salads with dressing on the side, yell at waiters, and bitch about it all at the same time.

On the way to Las Vegas, we met desert people. They do not speak unless they work at the gas station. They speak of cars they've seen and people they have met. I even saw a real desert trailer park.

Las Vegas I suppose it the adult version of Disneyland. My greatest discovery there was the trekkie museum. They take you through this simulator where they act as if you actually were in Star Trek. I asked a klingon if you he could speak klingon to me and he told me I needed training. I then toured Paris, Venice, and New York in a couple of hours. We stayed at the MGM grand in this very eccentric and eclectic suite. It hurt my eyes to just look at it.
By the time midnight came, my sister and I went to an oxygen bar and then started gambling. Unlike my first experience at the Montreal Casino, I lost money.
In the morning, I found a $2 breakfast buffet at the Circus Circus Hotel. It had fried chicken, bins of boiled eggs, and bright blue cakes. I was hoping that the hotel would look the same as it did in Fear and Loathing Las Vegas but they unfortunately renovated it.

I finished my visit in the States with a visit at the Getty museum. It was amazing. I must have seen a dozen different galleries and each was more captivating then the last.

On my way back to Montreal, I had to fly in this really shitty united airlines plane to chicago. I had to sit in the middle and the guy to my right kept getting mad because my sweater would rub against his arm. I finally told him that I could not do anything because the seats are small and I am fat. After that, we started chatting and he mentioned that he was on his way to Tennessee to play at a music festival. I asked him what the name of his band was and he answered in a small mumble Blood, Sweat, and Tears. I was a bit embarrassed because I knew of the band but none of its songs.

Then, I went to Switzerland. I thought that the motherland would have changed but it hasn't at all. It is the same old paradise I left 3 year ago. At the moment, my parents live in this beautiful apartment that overlooks the city and the lake. Every day, we go to Lausanne or Geneva. Life here is so much greater than anywhere else I have ever been. The whole country just has this unbreakable harmony. I could move back there in a second. Two things are stopping me from doing it. First, things are very expensive. I never realized how much my parents use to have to pay to go out to restaurants or pay for gas. The second problem is the swiss view on Homosexuality. It is hard to say whether they are accepting or not of the socially non-conformists because they simply do not discuss that sort of thing. Usually, they have no problem with it as a whole but they do not want to be personally concerned with Homosexuality. THe homosexuals there are either pressured into a normal life or become more eccentric than Liberace - well, almost as eccentric.

It was fantastic spending time with the entire family. I have now been promoted to the adult stage. THey feel comfortable talking with me about anything. They listen to me. They allow me to drink. This entails quite a bit of fun since most of the stuff they talk about is actually quite boring and they drink alot. To start, we always have champagne. Then, for the starters, we drink a simple, light white wine. For the main course, my uncle always brings out one of his bottles. THe first time I went, we had a chateau Talbot that almost a bit too old and the second time I went, we had an excellent Chateau Margaux. We usually finish the evening with a good Cognac for the men and tea for the women. I saw my hot cousin again. Fuck is he hot.

Since neither of my parents work yet, we spent most of our days together. To prevent me for strangling them, we walk through every park and saw every art museum we could find. I saw some fantastic collections including some history paintings from Montpelier, an exhibition on Rodin, and an entire museum dedicated to art made by people in psychiatric hospitals.

My mom and I then went to Paris for a few days. It was wonderful. I was happy to take my mother even though I would have preferred going alone. Firstly, I really want to start traveling more on my own. Secondly, I love looking at paintings and sculptures of nude men. Since my mother walked beside me the entire trip, it was quite hard to see anything. It was still a fantastic trip.

Now, I am at home in shitty rez. I get my new apartment in July. I'm looking for job but I am being very lazy. Life sucks now that I am home.
