Good news, mostly: Am back on campus!

Good news, definitely: I think the grad school interview went well, knock wood -- at any rate, the program feels like the right one for me, and I can only hope that the faculty agrees.

Less good news: The internet is not working in my apartment. wryyyyy.

Amusing news: really there were many amusing things ( Read more... )

Fritz, actually, which is sort of shorthand for "this would not be cool with Fritz." Prussia is not great about safewording, as sometimes it is very hard to pull him down from adrenaline highs (to say the least), but it's there if he needs it.

Lithuania?

I wish, says Lithuania.

In all seriousness, though, I don't think he has one -- while I don't think he's kink-averse, he's not terribly kinky on his own, and even if he's experimented with some of his partners, I don't think he will willingly put himself into a situation where he can't say no and mean it. (...willingly, natch.) I also think his DO NOT WANT mechanism is more that he goes into shut-down-and-endure-damn-it mode, and he's not very verbally communicative when he does that.

...sorry, Liet.

Germany? The fanon on this stuff is highly conflicting for him from what I've seen.

oh you. dammit am I going to look for that .gif and stare at it for like fifteen minutes again?
...probably.

Germany breeds conflicting fanon. He definitely has one! He has given it long and careful consideration, as it is a very important part of protocol in these situations (and the guy has one hell of a kinky streak, and is cognizant of it very early on even if he doesn't act on it). I think it's Donner, though you can blame Mith for that. Germany is conscientious and responsible enough to use it, but I think he's more likely to whip it out under situations of psychological rather than physical duress.

hey hey hey that was adesso's fault. both times, I think.
...haw haw.

Ain't that the truth. And aw, I like Donner. And psychological duress. Though come to think of it he'd probably spend twice as much time assuring that the other party had a safeword on hand.

Dork.

He did ask Italy! And Italy thought about it for a second and said "Scarf!" and Germany said no Venedig you should give it more thought than that and Italy said but there's a scarf right over there and Germany said But are you sure you can remember the word? And Italy thought about it for another second and said, "Well, if you're doing something to me that isn't sexy I think you'll know anyway but if I need a word there really is a scarf right over there. Besides. If it's something that's not sexy I'll be able to remember lots of things."

* Poland is like Lithuania in that he will not willingly get himself in situations where he cannot say and mean no and have that be enough to stop the proceedings, albeit for different reasons. Then again, if Poland is dissatisfied with the direction the sex is taking, he's more liable to up and leave altogether, possibly with a pejorative parting comment if it's REALLY lousy. If Poland is for whatever reason not capable of leaving at the moment, his equivalent of a safeword is "okay dude untie me, this is kinda lame."

* Jim is aware that he should have a safeword. He's been with enough kinksters to know that much, and when his partner asks him for one, he thinks something up. That being said, Jim -- uh, likes edgeplay. If it gets too edgy, "What the hell?" usually suffices. If he can't talk because there are hands around his throat, attacking the tender areas is usually a pretty good STOP NOW signal.

* Josiah's is no. Sometimes stop. Sometimes a well-placed kick. It's not the adrenaline-junkie thing with him, it's more that Jo ( ... )

Fleche, arrow. Guess when he came up with THAT one. *grin* (France has a safeword because, well, he's tried everything twice -- twice to make sure that it's the kink and not the person that gives him pause.) He has used it, but not recently. I think he has used it with Russia, actually, which distressed Russia very much.

... oh god I sort of want to write that.

It would distress Russia very much.

As much as I love writing porn, I do so love writing sex when it all goes to hell.

America, was what I was about to say, but then I remember he fails in BDSM.

er, England? Hisoka?

(oh btw Vol. 12 of yami is out and there will be scanlations soon, I think)

Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyeah he kinda does. *facepalm*

England's is plague, which Mith came up with but which is...pretty much perfect. I think the last time he used it was with Japan.

Hisoka's is sakura, once he and Tsuzuki work through enough of their Considerable Issues to give BDSM a go. (They get there, eventually! It just takes a while. Also, Hisoka's almost always the top when they play, at least at first, but he'll use it if he just can't keep the scene going, I think.)

(I know! I have seen some of the redone art, and it is very pretty! Eeeee.)

Hahaha. Reading ellenel13's comments, oh man, I'm sure England had a hell of a time explaining how BDSM goes. And America is just "this doesn't make any sense..."

(ahaha. YAY! I wanna buy it so the publishers may rethink publishing it AGAIN. ♥)

Mith and I have had that fic drafted for months. We need to actually edit and polish it. *facepalm, again*

(Oh god I hope so. Is she drawing new chapters, do you know? I can't imagine why she'd redraw all of volume 12 otherwise, but.)
