I had a lot of fun tonight!!
I had the hardest time getting people to go out. It was crazy!! But finally got Stephanie, Dana, and Carie to agree...
So, I'm on my way to the VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino.. It's supposed to be a kick ass club. And I get stuck in this nasty back-up from a crash on 435 right before my exit... Finally get passed that... then there is another accident at the exit... then we get on that highway to get stuck in traffic trying to get off to our next exit... This accident was right at the Casino's entrance. I knew it was bad when we first pased it... The whole front end of the car was completely gone... from the Driver's/Side passenger seats and forward....
We pulled off on the side of the road in the middle of what felt like no where to decide what to do (Stephanie ended up being in front of be with the back-ups... which was kinda crazy).. So we left msgs with Carie and I said I knew of a few good places up by Carie's house, and were only about 5 miles away. So we pass the accident coming back to the highway and they now had a tarp over the front of the car. This usually means there has been a fatality... which doesn't surprise me. And the ambulance that left didn't have sirens going. It was really sad...
So, Dana bails on us... and Stephanie and I decide to go up to Johnny O'Quigleys, this sports bar and grill bar place... We drank a few and waited forever... till Carie called to ask where we were at. Turns out they were a few blocks down... so they came back up... and we explained the accident.
Turns out one of the other girls Mary, and her husband decided to come too, since we were north of the river...
We had A LOT of fun at Johnny O'Quigley's...
Then Carie, her husband, and I went to a place near Zona Rosa... it was an uppity early 20s white people's bar... I wasn't to impressed...
From there I tried to call Melvin cuz Johnny O'Quigley's is a block away from his apartment. And Zona Rosa is only like 3 miles north of there...
But.. no response... which is what I was expecting...
I think we're pushing each other away... and it's going to end soon...
