Halloween
I actually came up with a Halloween costume this year. I'm a farmer. I bought overalls, a plaid flannel shirt and a straw hat. Granted, I'm playing on stereotypes, but isn't that what costumes do? Having had farmers in the family, I know they are much more likely to wear baseball caps from the co-op than a straw hat, and a t-shirt over flannel. Not even too sure about the overalls. But if I don't dress the stereotype, I wouldn't be recognizable.
I haven't posted here in a long time because I'm primarily on Facebook now. The micro-blogging there suits me, I suppose. Or maybe I just haven't had too much to say.
I do know that for my friends list, it feels more efficient to read status updates to keep up with their lives. Although I'd like to tell a few of them that I don't care what time they go to bed!
