Your How To Guide

I have a book called the Idea Catcher. One of the 'excersices' it gives is to take a reader step by step thru something you do well. So...

Here's how to play a major work for piano!

Step one: Drive to church for privacy
two: Forget keys to church, drive home
three: Drive back to church without music
four: drive home
five: spend 5 minutes looking of rmusic around piano, finally finding it right in front of your fat face, mutter swear words under your breath
six: Get to church with keys, with music, clear space on grand piano
seven: Vow to clean off grand piano
eight: Open up to hardest piece of music in the book (You vow to learn it someday, why not today!)
nine: Look at piece. Allow reality to set in because it sounded far easier on the recording
ten: try anyway
eleven: get through first 4 measures
twelve: Begin stream of creative curse words
thirteen: try again
fourteen: Swear louder. Vow to take lessons again
fifteen: Leave. Without music, without church keys, and without cleaning off space on the grand piano.
sixteen (optional): Spend money at Blockbuster (that should be saved for lessons, and that you probably don't have anyway).

There you have it! In no time you can start playing a major work with these simple steps.

Love
Jeremy
