He could leave. It wouldn’t be too hard to slip out of Kurt’s arms and out the front door. Kurt would let him. He’d be angry, sure, but he’d be too embarrassed to ever confront Puck about it. It would be as though nothing ever happened.

He rolls over. Kurt doesn’t wake.

He pushes himself up onto one elbow, studying the boy lying next to him. Kurt doesn’t wake.

His hand reaches out to trace the curve of Kurt’s mouth. Kurt doesn’t wake.

Carefully, he leans down and drops a soft kiss onto Kurt’s forehead before settling back down again.

Puck’s stolen a lot of stuff. His uncle’s watch, his best friend’s girl, those Cadbury eggs for Lauren, the ATM...but this is the first time he’s tried to steal somebody’s boyfriend. If he were a less selfish person, he’d probably feel bad about it. But all that matters to him is that Kurt is his.

Except he’s still kind of Blaine’s too. That stupid picture mocks him from the inside of Kurt’s locker, Blaine looking smug underneath his dumb eyebrows. It’s Blaine who gets to dance with Kurt at prom, Blaine who hangs out in the living room with Kurt’s parents. Puck gets stolen kisses in a bathroom stall after singing “Friday” and he always has to tiptoe past Burt and Carole or pretend he’s there to hang out with Finn.

He thinks about breaking into Kurt’s locker and stealing the picture. Except Kurt would know it was him right away, and he’d give Puck one of those looks, and say something like I don’t appreciate you pressuring me or who are you to judge me.It takes Puck too long to realize Kurt was never really his. He ends up ( ... )

this is not the fluffy adorableness I have come to expect from you! it made me sad with no promise of unhappy ending for poor bb puck. D:

But it's okay cuz I can reread some stories from the everything verse to cheer myself up on puck's behalf.

30 Creature!fics #13 - Fight bloodstrom June 13 2011, 15:22:43 UTC

The fight was quick. There was no circling to find a weak spot, no growling taunts back and forth, just a violent collision of bodies and fur. Teeth sought for necks while claws tore at any flesh they could find. In a whirlwind of activity, the two werewolves fought for their position as pack leader. The rest of the pack formed a circle, howling out their encouragement to the moon.

In just a few short minutes it was over. The Alpha lay on the ground, his back leg broken and chunk torn out of his ear. The new comer stood over him, and though he was limping, his teeth were at the Alphas throat. He had won. The loser closed his eyes and lay his head back. His life was forfeit, if the other chose.

The other wolf loosened his teeth, and licked a long stripe up the loser’s neck. He had fought well. As Kurt backed away and started the change, he contemplated the wolf in front of him. Weres were not fond of demotion, but there was no way he was choosing another beta over Puck.
