So here's the rundown of everything else.
As a result of work I really haven't had much time for my distance ed course. I'm just simply trying to get through it with the credit, which I need in order to finish a semester earlier than initially planned. It would have been better if I had known that before last semester and I wouldn't have taken a reduced courseload. Of course, I have no idea how I would've done if that were case, and I absolutely obliterated previous expectations coming into the semester, so at the time, taking 4 courses seemed excessive, let alone 5.
I went for dinner and saw Superman last night with Braun, Josh, Sean and Karen. The movie was all right, but definetely too long. After the movie I came home, picked up my car, and went to visit Andrea for a bit. I'm really enjoying this living in the same city dealie. It's gonna be tough when we go back to different schools..
I knew work was getting in the way of something else I was forgetting! Yeah, since I work every Saturday and Sunday at 5:30 am, I typically don't go out on Friday or Saturday nights. Unfortunately, it meant missing most of Katz's b-day, missing all of Jamie's b-day, and likely missing Hava's b-day. Here's hoping they know it's nothing personal...it's not like I don't want to see them or anything!
I was going to make a point of going downstairs and watching Leafs TV now that they're showing something remotely interesting (Game In An Hour from various games over the past 4 years). At 8 pm, they're showing the Game In An Hour version of the Toronto Marlies and Hershey Bears from October, and actually that was the first Marlies game I went to. It's kinda interesting to look back to over 8 months ago and the time that it was. I got home from work, had a bite to eat, changed, and then Sean picked me up and we went to the subway and to the game. Tomorrow (Saturday) I will get home from work, have a bite to eat, change, and then go down with my dad and brother to the Argonauts-Blue Bombers game at the Rogers Centre.
(NOTE: For your reference...the game is a football game, in the CFL. The Toronto Argonauts are the team I'm cheering for...and they're the team that signed Ricky Williams in the offseason (that's not why I'm cheering for them though, I really don't care about that either way). Oh, and the Rogers Centre is the Skydome...)
So yeah, so much was different after 4 months, 6 months, and now 8 months from that point in time. Some things stay the same and look the same, but there have been such positive developments in my life over that time that it's a very different level of life these days. Having said that, I feel that one of your life's purposes is to learn all that you can about yourself, and so the journey continues. But at least I'm at a better spot with it now.
