Sadness....
So, Steve Irwin died over the weekend - as in the Crocodile Hunter. He was my hero, sniff. Well, not my HERO per se, but I think he was an awesome dude. He was filming a documentary and a sting ray got freaked and stabbed him (nearly) in the heart with it's serrated tail, releasing toxins, killing him almost instantly. You can swim with sting rays; who woulda thought one could KILL you? And after all the other crazy things that guy has done....I would have thought a crocodile or those poisonous snakes he always plays with would have done him in. But yah, major bummer. He was awesome -- in a crazy sort of way.
