Dream post. Again.
First there's a scene with the URTV Variant Boys. They are, for some reason, in a room very similar to the one Abel was in, only with more things in it, including, but possibly not limited to, a strange bicycle. And I think Rubedo might've been invisible at times.
Anyway, the boys start fighting (I can't remember why) and at one point Nigredo just stays in the same place and gets attacked in the same way twice, and may have seemed surprised about that. At this point, I look away from the scene and tell my brother that, if you're in a fight, and expect not to get hurt when you won't bother to MOVE, you are an idiot.
I think at this point I'm in a videogame and my party has cleared out the final monster in some stage and after we've gotten our experience and new abilities, we're warped to the safe area. Great menu graphics and interface, by the way. Activating new powers was a breeze.
Next scene. I am (I suppose) at Jason and Kathy's house, that or we all live together again, and one of Kathy's old friends who'd joined the military at some point was visiting her. There was some bantering, I think, and then they went downstairs to the kitchen where she heated my mom's version of chili. And there was something about her not being able to handle chili in a bowl.
After that, we're all by a staircase from one of our older apartments. Well, I'm on it, Kathy and the mystery friend are to the side. Anyway, he gives her a new cat, this beige-ish creature with brick red designs, and I think at this point I am reminded of/see/who knows some guy from Final Fantasy XII (ALL RIGHT STUPID SUBCONSCIOUS! I'LL PLAY THE DAMNED THING AGAIN AND FINISH IT THIS TIME! HAPPY NOW?! who had some similar station to Basch and adored Ashe, but I don't think it was Basch, or even anyone who actually appears in the game.
Then there were some uninteresting diner scenes. I guess I worked there.
Now I'm in another videogame, but I think this time I'm some blue-ish creature, possible a wolf, and I have to jump on/bash various creatures in the area, some of which turn me into a small blue ring. I destroy what I can and head over to the next area, except there's this slope, and the edge of the screen, and for a moment, seemingly nothing after that, so I essentially end up tossing myself off a cliff. Good thing I had an extra life. Now a whole bunch of enemies appear, and I know I can get by them to the next area by jumping and running on them. But oh no! The ground just past them has started breaking up, so I must hurry hurry hurry! At this point I disappear from the screen, and now I must click on the appropriate large pieces of road, which will make up my path. And there's all sorts of "they won't make it!" dialogue being tossed about, but I'm pretty sure I do.
Then I'm on a Xenosaga Federation vessel where I see lots of Federation soldier types and Juli Mizrahi. I decide to talk to everyone else first, then Juli, but end up talking to her after only two people or so. I get some by now forgotten exposition from her, and my eyes are now focused on a TV screen showing an FMV from Xenosaga, only the ship we're looking at and the voiceover being spoken isn't anything that shows up in any of the actual games. So I turn to Juli and ask "Is this real?" because, well, Xenosaga IV, to which she responds "Oh, it's better than real." Looking back, this may have been in reference to me actually talking to her, but it's a dream and that just seems so natural, you know? I tell her that I just wanted to know because if it wasn't, I didn't want to get through the trouble of recording all the new footage and whatnot and following something that wasn't true. She just smirked.
We focus back on the screen, which is showing some hyperspace colors spinning into a cone shape and turning into Abel's Ark. But the Ark doesn't finish, shall we say, "happening", and we cut away to some orb or planet or SOME ROUND THING deflating and it gets all Pixar Comical.
Then I woke up.
