It's the little things that are important. It's also the little things that drive people mad.
Today, on the ride home from school, which is surprisingly the ripest
moment for such occurrences to happen, I spotted a truck. Not weird or
out of place at all, it was just a normal truck you'd usually see
carrying some sort of highly flammable fuel in. But there weren't any
flammable signs, any "do not inhale" signs, or even any other sensible
warning that goes along with such trucks. No, but there was one sign,
in bold black letters, and it read "INEDIBLE". "INEDIBLE".
Yes. As if it crashed and spilled out its contents on the side of the
road, someone might just bend over and scoop up a tasty mouthfull of
the mysterious substance. Have they had this problem before? "INEDIBLE". It almost calls you to see why they would need such a warning. Is it tasty, like how antifreeze is to a dog? "INEDIBLE". It makes me want to taste it, to see why they needed to put that warning up, to sample this forbidden substance. Why? WHY?!
