Today is flu shot day at work. I dutifully lined up with my co- workers, and it came time for me to roll up my sleeve and get injected.

That's when I remembered my large tattoos and my very conservative work environment.

The partnership now knows a lot more about me than it did.

Oy.

I am turning into such a wuss in my old age.

I couldn't resist. Here is a first pic of new tat. No colors have been filled in yet (that bit of red you see is my blood).

OK, the tattoo is not finished, but well underway. After nearly 4 hours of work we were both exhausted, and I was bleeding like a stuck pig. I go back in 2 weeks to get all the color filled in. All we did today was the outlines, the shading, and those parts that are black and thickly filled ( Read more... )

Tomorrow, the new ink hits the skin! By this time tomorrow, my right forearm should be covered in new art.
