Friday night we met up with MATA and a couple of their friends for a spot of Cze Char. We wanted to take a break from fancy food and had earlier in the month decided to meet up for some cheap eatin'. Everyone seems to recommend this place quite highly and I have to say their reputation is quite deserved!
The food was of a high standard and some of the dishes quite different. I absolutely loved the Butter pork as well as the Coffee pork! They were both my favourites by far. Initially I thought the coffee pork was going to be a tad on the weird side, but the coffee flavour was absolutely delicious. The drunken cockles were ace too as I do love my cockles.
Anyway, I can't be assed saying too much more about this place because Erica is leaving for China tomorrow and I'm sitting here watching her pack and acting all sad and pouty like. She'll be gone for 4 days from early tomorrow morning until Thursday night. I mean, she can barely leave me alone for an hour without me doing something stupid, how could she even consider leaving me for 4 days!! Oh imagine the possible ramifications of leaving a child by himself for 4 days!!! I'll miss my baby :`(

I love this father and son shot of Merv and Ellie!
And we went to Island Creamery for dessert post Two Chefs. Man I'm such a pussy, I couldn't even make it through one single scoop of my Kahlua Latte Ice Cream. I love Ice Cream I do. I adore it so much. But dang I struggle to eat more than a scoop of it outside of the comfort of my own home. I don't know why that is. Maybe it's just an unconscious fear of myself turning in to some fat dude that sobs into a tub of ice cream whenever he thinks the world has betrayed him...
Island Creamery
Ice Creams for all

Nitey nite Elliot!
