Thanks to being on travel, I missed the posting of my beholder gift:  "Dull as Dirt, Brilliant as the Stars" (Gregory Goyle & Millicent Bulstrode w/hints of past Greg/Vincent Crabbe slash). I finally saw it last night, but at a time I couldn't really read it. I might have skimmed it, but decided not to until I could take time to read it properly and I'm sure glad I did. It's a lovely little gem of a story, loaded with emotional resonance and delicious hurt/comfort and well, just go read it! It's under 5K, but packs a gentle and definite wallop.
