RIP Michael Jackson and Farah Fawcett - both died yesterday.
to be honest, couldn't really care less about Jackson but the circus will be interesting now media-wise - also a friend of mine worked for him many years ago as a sound and lighting engineer on a tour *back in the days*, just after the Pepsi advert fiasco where Jackson got badly burnt - anyway, he was told then by one of Jackson's staff that he'd been so badly disfigured they were now using doubles, and the staff themselves didn't know if he was alive or dead. The conspiracy theorists have already started too - he's with Elvis in Idaho eating tacos!
Farah Fawcett on the other hand - I was just a little girl when Charlie's Angels was on TV - I remember being allowed to stay up to watch it when my Nana babysat - such a treat because it was one of those programmes my mother considered trash and I wasn't really supposed to watch, and it was so glamourous and exciting. I wanted to be an Angel! and Farah was my favourite - she was just so beautiful.
