tidy rooms suffused in rainbow vapor
We had people over for Solstice Parade. Yay for seeing Sarah G and Neal again! There were art cars after the parade, including an Australian car named Bruce II, a car covered in yarn, and a car covered in toys. I loved the rainbow-scale car and the one covered in singing/dancing seafood.
For the Fourth of July I went with John and some friends to see the fireworks at Gasworks Park. I keep learning more terrible things about South Africa from Theunis and Marius.
Listening to the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack is difficult. It's amazing stuff, and makes me feel like nothing is okay. And I haven't even seen the film.
Finished Jeff's Meanwhile, in Talenta two-shot. Rollicking good fun with Rocket Team and vegemite!
My allergist is unwilling to give me shots (it’s been three months since my last one) unless I start over, and I can’t commit to staying anywhere for five years. So I have to resign myself to a catless existence until several years after I settle down, which is unhappy-making. In the meantime, I guess I save time and money on the testing and shots. It all seems like voodoo at this point.
Go Play Northwest was lots of fun- we made up a horrible bird elder god named Qualitch and I learned quite a bit about Cold War Berlin (Spione game).
Planning a few-shot and writing up characters. Need to playtest the system. Everyone loves tarot?
