Tapinauchenius elenae cocoon taken, now to cross fingers

Feb 10, 2009 23:54

36 days after it has been laid, we have taken the cocoon from my orange treespider. It was a very sad sight as it was flailing and trying everything to grab it back with all its hairy legs, but some things simply have to be done. :(

Now I only have to keep it warm and in a humid environment, check it for mould, and be very-very caring about it. Nature should do the rest.

Keep your fingers crossed, I sure do.
