And so it continues...

So, I mentioned hanging out with my friend Evan in the last post - I ended up doing so the Tuesday of finals week seeing as how I had none.  I met up with him and Will for lunch, and then ended up going to Trivia that night with an old co-worker of mine and his roommate.  Trivia, as usual, proved far too difficult - though the people sitting next to us were quite amusing.

I returned home and got ready for bed.  Then around 10:30 I get a phone call from a drunk Evan.  And it was the most hysterical thing...Let me explain to you something about Evan, he's a very...upstanding person.  So to hear him drunk was entertaining, and completely different from what I was used to.  I didn't think anything of it, and then I got a phone call from a number I didn't recognize (my friend Todd, it turned out) and Badger both telling me to come out and drink with them.  So I did.

Granted, it was about 10:50 or so when I finally managed to meet up with them at The Grand.  After having a beer and a half with Evan and Todd and Badger (and their roommates, both whom I had met a week before), Badger decided to go home.  Apparently the group of them had wine before going out, and Badger had stupidly decided to drink dessert wine.  Todd, Badger and Evan tried to convince me to join them during their spring break plans, saying, "Invite your hot friends!  Like Kim and Anne."  Hilarious.  The rest of the night went by pretty fast, but it was fun.

Spring break passed without anything too exciting happening, though I did meet up with Randy and Angela, friends from high school, for the UW basketball game and Sounders game at Katie's Pub in Seattle.  Had a lot of fun with the two of them watching sports.

And then it was time for school to start again.  This quarter so far has been going swimmingly well (though mid-terms will determine whether things are going as well as I think they are).  However ever since the accident this summer, I just feel as if I've managed to dig up bad luck.  Nothing has been going right (in my mind), and everything just seems to be stacked against me.  I just have to keep fighting.  Hopefully things will start to work out soon.
