I'll give it a little leeway given they had to put a patch on the episode to tie it up because of the strike. We'll see what happens when the show comes back.
-Why kill Nathan off for good? He's played by one of the best actors on the show, he has a cool power and there's lots to do with his character. Plus the fans will revolt. (But not as much as they would have if Mr. Bennet had been really-dead.)
-Mr. Bennet probably shot Nathan. y/n?
-I don't really care if they kill Nicki, they'd sort of played out her multiple personality disorder (somehow the Company fixed this? I don't get how.) and her domestic life with Micah was always boring to me. I want to know why they have "Uhura" on the show and have done nothing with her so far.
-Why Peter didn't just fucking read Kensei/Adam's mind I don't understand. Silly show always conveniently forgetting what their characters are capable of. Peter should have a lot more powers than he's currently displaying as well. It bugs.
-Showing Matt on Nathan's back would have been hilarious but probably very hard to film as Greg Grunberg is much larger than Adrian Pasdar.
-We still do not know what the powers of half the elder generation were. That is
( ... )
- Mr. Bennett could have shot Nathan, I guess...I don't know if I buy it, though. Why would they fly him all the way to NY, in custody of Bob, to do something he probably didn't really want to do himself? I'm sure Angela tipped someone off...it might be a character we haven't seen before
( ... )
-I think it was Mr. Bennet because it could have been part of the deal he made with the Company. Plus this show is always looking for ways to keep his character nice and grey.
-Peter is constantly underusing his powers or conveniently forgetting he has certain powers. Like why bother to telekinetically rip the safe door open when he could just fucking walk through it? Seriously. Bad writing people. (This is why having characters like Peter are so problematic.)
-The time travel paradox is the same as we get with season 1 and Hiro seeing the explosion in NY. I guess they could exist outside the time-line. That's the Back to the Future take on it I guess.
-I actually have no problem seeing Bob and Elle as a very dysfunctional father/daughter dynamic. Bob clearly doesn't care much about her mental well-being though and values her only for how useful he is to him. I guess I'm feeling it more from her end.
-Lyle is so hilariously purposeless on this show. It would be great if someday he could maybe have any significance to the plot.
(Don't be dead for real Nathan!)
