Important Life Events
So, Cameron and I are in the process of counter-offering (we made an offer, they rejected it and countered, we rejected THAT and countered AGAIN) to buy this house. In other news, who am I an what have I done with the real psychopeg???
Also, wedding preparations continue to limp along. My mother has been hard at work designing BEAUTIFUL flower arrangements! My bride's slaves bridesmaids attendants are planning their outfits costumes. I have tried on 2394835 gowns at "real" wedding stores, rejected them all, ordered ~$2,000's worth of dresses from J. Crew, selected one that I love, and returned them all (the one I loved had a sliiiight error in the zipper AND...)
Fitness is going well. I've reformed my eating habits (mostly) and have lost about 10 pounds since mid-January without a particular ton of effort (more than, you know, cooking at home and/or begging Cameron to cook for me every night, seeing my trainer twice a week, doing cardio, etc). So, uh, without more effort than I can handle, I guess? So I might need a smaller wedding dress ANYWAY so yeah. Woo!!
Sadly this means that now I fit in regular store sizes again (!!!!!) which means that I'm having a hard time not BUYING EVERYTHING THAT FITS. EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING!!!!!!!111111 But I did pick up some nice useful things for my next event, which is
a TRIP TO FRANCE with... TEENAGERS!! Haha. I am helping to chaperone the French Club's trip to France. Le woot! I'm leaving on Saturday and will be back on Easter. So, uh, I'm gonna go pack for that! Just wanted to let y'all know that I'm Not Dead (Yet).
Also: I love you, I miss you, and 2 weeks of our final trimester at school are done, leaving only TWELVE WEEKS TO GO OMG STUPID EXTENDED-YEAR SCHOOL. [ahem] Sorry. Yes. Summer is looming ever-nearer, and after last week's awesome weather all I wanted was to hang out outside and read books. So that's what my classes did two afternoons in a row. Haha. Luckily it's been rainy all day today and that's brought me back to my senses. :(
