Yesterday, on the way to drop Matt off at his temp job, we heard on the radio that schools would be closed and so would several municipal offices due to the fact that Tropical Storm Ernesto was coming through and they expected "high winds and heavy rain" - high winds being 35mph sustained or so. The left over storm from Ernesto didn't even delay our flight like we thought it might.... And - People suck!! All you can do is just know you are sane (sorta) and move on with your day. The left over

oh, and for the record, I DO call the male passengers "sir" for the most part... I wasn't trying to be like in Romeo and Juliet "Do you bite your thumb at me - SIR?" *giggles*

So, Ernesto was a pushover and people in fair weather cities freak at the first inkling of foreign weather, hmm? Not surprising.

The grudging passenger probably thought you were feigning ignorance, but, like you said, you genuinely didn't recognize him later on. I'm sure he was thinking of giving you a piece of his mind since "the incident," but wussed out, saving his volley for the last possible minute to give you no chance to respond. What a tool! If he was genuinely concerned about "how the operation is run," he would ask to speak with whoever's in authority to get the story straight, lodge a complaint, etc. Dumbass guy...
