I'm totally exhausted...

but it's been such an interesting day (for me, anyway), that I really want to update.

I got a late start as usual. But I got my disability, so even though I didn't get out the door till 5 pm, I went all the way to the Super Walmart, way the heck in Scottsdale. I just missed my connection to the 170 bus, and I had to pee, so I crossed the street to the 99 cent store to use the bathroom. Joe was there in his wheelchair. I hadn't seen him for a few days. He said he'd had a mild heart attack, and just got back out. At least he was safe and warm during the cold storms. I guess he found someone who is going to give him a comforter and sleeping bag, so he'll be plenty warm if he can't find a place to stay. I couldn't stay and talk much to him or I'd miss my bus. When I came back out of the store, he goes, "Hey, I've just got to pay you a compliment. You have the cutest little butt." Then he went on to say it wasn't anything sexual, just that he thought it was cute the way it moved. *Blushing intensely*. He embarrassed me so bad that I covered my butt with my jacket when I went back to the bus stop. That's not why I want to be friends with him.

I finally got to Walmart, and of course, on the way to the sewing dept., I went through the shoes and found a pair of black thongs I liked, for $8.93. I really did need them, though, so I don't feel guilty.

I got to the sewing dept. There was the machine I wanted, but it said, $78.88. I looked at the actual box, and it had a sticker with the stock number, and the price as $65.00, which it was originally. So I took it anyway, and was planning on making it very clear that I wasn't going to pay almost 80 bucks, when it said clearly that it was only 65. I got a bunch of groceries that I could fit in my backpack, plus a large plastic bags worth, besides the sewing machine. When I got to the register, of course, the machine rang up as $78.88. I pointed out the sticker with the stock number, and even the guy in line behind me pointed it out. The cashier was really nice about it, and changed it, but had to have it approved by a manager. The manager came over, and he was nice about it, too, but he rang it up as 65 cents instead of dollars, and then blamed it on the cashier. Everything finally got straightened out, I signed for my card, and the computer froze. So then they had to call the big guns in, and it took HIM forever to get the thing straightened out. I felt so bad for the cashier. He looked exhausted and that was the last thing he needed. Fortunately, he was getting off in an hour.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I had to use the restroom again when I first got to Walmart. I went in, and things didn't look right. There was only one stall, and I thought I saw a man's feet under the door. Then I looked at the wall and saw two urinals. I got out of there as fast as I could before he came out or another man came in. I don't know if anybody else saw me go in there. Boy, did I feel stupid.

On the way home, waiting for the 90, I had to go AGAIN. I had a few minutes before the bus was due, so I had to drag my backpack, the big bag, and the sewing machine into Carl's Jr., just to use the bathroom.

I'm actually seeing results already from my bike. My arms are toning up, my thighs are getting bigger again, and even my waist and stomach are going down again. I LOVE that thing. I'm so glad I got it. I hope I can get as much use out of my sewing machine. Yay. I'm actually getting some constructive things going. Now if I can just stick to them. That's the catch.

I am feeling so much better, today. I had a couple little dizzy spells, but nothing like yesterday.
