lets see if i can summerize the weekend
Thursday night... went out with Jess (american) we went to evan and alex's apartment (both american) with scott (kiwi) we walked in on them watching porn and we all continued to watch it, it was moderatly amusing however a bit gross when the girl anal fisted herself. anywho i drank more that night that i think i ever have, drink of choice being whiskey and coke, tasty stuff. had about 3 cups :-) not much i know i'm a serious light weight. ross (kiwi) showed up to hang with us so it was two girls and 4 guys a common combination i seem to be in lately. we chatted and hung out and then headed out to the pubs. basically we pub hopped and danced the whole night till 3am. i think we went to 4 different pubs. twas fun, by the end of the night i was pretty sober although not rehydrated. i was trying to figure out what i wanted to do at the end of the night, walk home at 3am by myself (jess might have come but she ended up ditching me) or sleep at Ross's who had offered a spare bed actually it was pretty funny because he was drunk and first off he was asking what i was doing after the pub, and he offered a spare bed but later he said 'by spare bed i mean i have a double bed and there is plenty of room for two.' of course :-P i didnt care because well you know me ;-) so i ended up going home with him. i told him at first (when he asked to kiss me after we were both half naked in bed to sleep of course) that we should really get some sleep because he had to get up and fly in the morning (he's in aviation which is like flight school for the government i think, kinda like the army) but after about an hour of not being able to sleep (cause both of us were too horny) we got it on, so i had my first one night stand, of course i had to brag about it later oops! so i woke up in the morning and realized just how akward it is to sleep with people you arent even sort of friends with but i just left around 10am. i was a bit hung over and very tired but i managed to get home and slept till about 2pm.
Friday night.... this was 5 bands for $5 night, i went with maria (romanian) and we met up with alyss (russian) and john (american) to watch these local bands and met up with some more people there. we actually got there pretty early so we went out to a pub called guv'nors so far this pub is maria and i's favorite. we just hung out and drunk some beer and watched rugby till the show started. at the show the first two bands werent so good but one of the girls in the 2nd band was really cute, i think she was like 16 though oh well. the other 3 were pretty good, the last being the best though. after the show we went to gov'ners again with added memebers being shun (indian) and patric (texan)oh and minus alyss who had to work. so this time 2 girls and 3 guys. anywho we went all over including the one and only gay bar in the town which was kinda creepy going without anyone who had been, its down this alley and up these stairs, there is no sign or anything. then you have to ring this bell to be let in. anyways it was pretty dead but everywhere was because friday nights are apparently always dead. but we had fun ruling the dance floor dancing to remixed music of christina agulira and stuff like that :-P twas fun. so yeah stayed out again till 3am, but headed home in a taxi with the whole group.
Saturday night... bored most of the day and finally met up with maria to go out and patric went with us. we had to walk to town (45 minute walk) because the buses stop running at 4:30pm on the weekends) after the walk we went to hell's pizza which is apparently the best pizza it town its pretty good but it has their weird tomato sause (ketchup) as sauce and its so sweet it make pizza taste a bit funny. anywho after pizza we headed again to gov'ners where we are pretty much now considered regulars :-) i had a whiskey and coke, and we played darts, later in the evening we met some kiwi's mike and phillipa or pr. we ended up hanging out with them the rest of the night and went out to the gay bar again, which i told maria we should be regulars there too. mike and phillipa went home early and patric maria and i were trying to hang out till 3am to catch this late bus that was running because of and orientation event or something so we wandered around a bit and got some hot chips (french fries) at some resturant that happened to be open when we walked out we say down the street about half a block this guy beating another guy to a bloody pulp. no one around was doing anything i was almost ready to charge the guy and risk getting hurt to save this guy cause at that point he had to be unconscious when someone finally knocked the guy down. talk about ruining your appetite. we avoided going to see how terribly messed up the guy was there were lots of people there anyway and we walked around and tried to eat our chips. gruesome thing to end the night with.
sunday... was the big concert/festival day which maria, patric and i, met up with mike and phillipa at to sit on the grass all day and get fried, i'm really burnt, but its the first time so i guess its all right.
to add to the gossip apparently a bunch of people got into fights saturday night some were apparently unprovoked, i heard stories that if you walk by yourself you might be the crap beat out of you for no reason. but the guy i slept with on thursday night ross, was one he got punched in the throat and had to goto the hospital, now he cant talk (i dont think its permenent though).
on to happier topics... there were lots of bands and then the femmes at 6pm they werent that great... so the day was filled with snuggling and flirting between maria and i and sometimes mike, (maria and i have the same tastes in both men and women which makes things a bit hard we are currently fighting over a few ppl but mostly in a fun and carefree way :-)) so after the concert everyone was going out to pizza at hell's pizza. maria and i had been watching this one cute guy the whole show and he had sat by himself the entire time so after the show i went up to him and asked him to come to pizza with us and he did, go figure he was an international student from germany :-) so our group ended up being mike, phillipa, their roommate mika, patric, maria, helvig (i think thats his name he's german) shun, and rudulpho who is originally from brazil but has been living in NZ for about 3 years. after pizza the kiwis went home and the rest of us went out to guv'nors again 2 girl and 4 guys this time all 4 guys had long hair (which both maria and i think is hott!) i bought everyone beer and told them that they all owed me sexual favors in return ;-) alas i havent changed. anyway we had lots of fun hanging out playing darts and getting to know each other, we headed home around 10pm cause it was a school night, caught a taxi to my place since i live on a huge hill and we hung out a bit more there and then everyone left.
so yes that is the end of my incredibly long and somewhat blurred weekend. i think i partied more this weekend than i did all of last year :-P well i guess i should have fun while i'm young hehe!
