I know there are a few people on my FL from Toronto so I figured I would pass it along...

HOW MANY LIGHT BULBS DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE TORONTO?

TWO - AND THEY'RE FREE!
Starting this weekend, Toronto Hydro is giving every household in Toronto two FREE compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). Simply bring photo ID and proof of your City of Toronto home address to one of The Home Depot's 12 Toronto stores between Sept. 16 and Oct. 30. You'll get two FREE CFLs!
Using a single energy-efficient CFL will shave up to $27 off your hydro bill over the life of the bulb. If every household in Toronto swaps two regular bulbs for CFLs, the reduction in electricity demand from the City of Toronto will be equal to the amount needed to power Stratford and Orillia on an average day!
Check out www.torontohydro.com/brightideas or call 416-924-LITE for event locations and times.

This weekend, you can get your bulbs at the following stores:
Leaside
Gerrard Square
Scarborough (Ellesmere)
Yorkdale
Stockyards
Etobicoke South (Sherway Gardens)
Please pass this message on to all of your friends and family who live in the City of Toronto. Thanks!
