I may have to get a hold of this. Like you, I played my vinyl version to death, and the CD version exactly once. I didn't even use it for making compilations...
From the first time I heard the released mix of "Relax" and compared it to the (very enjoyable) shambles of their appearance on The Tube, I knew this was a ZTT production. I was always a fan of Horn's production (even if secretly for Dollar), thought I hated what Paul "Tosser" Morley brought to the party (pretension, mostly).
For me the core tracks were Relax and Two Tribes. "The Power of Love" suffered from one of the most tacky videos ever made, and massive over-play. I'd love to go back and listen to it now.
Maybe I am a touch hard on Holly and the boys, but I didn't feel Blast had a fraction of the genius that Pleasuredome had. I suspect that Blast was also the product of a producer/record company as we were well and truly entering that age about that time.
