important news: Martha has lost her cell phone. It could be chewed up in a ditch somewhere, or hiding out in silence, but either way, it's time has come. Time for a replacement.
not much going on otherwise. Just waiting to get through this month and the next few as they roll by. Right now I'm reading Life of Pi which is turning out to be a really good book thus far. It makes up for my recent poopish selection of books. After this one, I've got a short story collection by Tanith Lee (of Black Unicorn fame! you must read it if you find it), and I guess I'll be hitting up some classics after that.
Bookstore is all good, especially with Harry Potter coming up in the next two weeks. Speaking of, if you haven't already prepurchased your Harry Potter book or have plans for attending any HP events, come to the BooksAMillion in Old Town Alexandria! There's a metro stop at the top of the street so you wont have to worry about parking, and there are several good bars and restaurants in the area for you to visit while you wait for 12:01. We'll be having some fun activities for all ages, including a costume contest and a trivia contest. Come and play with us!
Lately I've felt the need to see a movie that is so good it will make me cry, sort of along the lines of Garden State. Does anyone have any suggestions for such a movie?
Also have been debating living arangements in my head. Where to live, when to move, junk like that. I've still got a bit of wanderlust in me, so I think I'm going to follow that impulse and see where it may take me. I met a customer at the store recently, and he said he made it a point to move somewhere new every two years, and I thought that was rather a fun idea. I wonder how he does it.
I probably ought to start going through all my stuff in the attic and getting rid of things. Meh. That would probably be a good thing to get done if any moves happen later on.
