I am sad/frustrated/annoyed/disappointed.
The guy I ordered the wood from said that the wrong wood was delivered and I either have to pay an extra grand or wait 4 weeks for the right wood to swap it with.
I was planning to start laying it this weekend. :(
I really didn't need this shit fight. Not a little happy chickidee at all.

I have finally got my ass into gear and made some decisions about my house (thanks to a killer headache that had me in bed to 1pm and gave me a day off work).

I now have wood floor that will be delivered on Wednesday. I therefore have two weeks to paint the house before the wood can be laid and then I can move in! Yay ( Read more... )

I have finally received the keys to my new house. I find housebuying to be such a strange process. Its probably one of the biggest purchases I will make in my life, but I had to spend less time deciding than I would on a new dress, and then have to spend 2 months working out how to pay for the new dress house before I get to see it again.
