poem i wrote for such a horrible event..
The first words I want to say
Are that I’m truly sorry
You had to leave this way
I wish you were okay
And just maybe if I knew
I could have held your hand
Been your shoulder to lean on
I hope this is what you wanted
And that you finally got your happiness
But you should have known
There are many ways to get help
That could have saved you
From such a horrible, terrible accident
This tragedy
Will always be remembered
And forever you will live on
In the hearts of many
Even the ones you least expected
Hopefully you know
How special you were
Death may be an escape
But living is the true test
And the things that hurt you the most
Should have pushed you
Made you stronger
I understand everything you felt inside
The loneliness
Nothing to live for
But if you search deep enough
You will always find a reason to live…
