Yes... I scream like a girl...

Saturday I went with some friends to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I love the Theme Parks. I had a great time. Rode all the rides except for one, and the only reason I didn't ride it was because it was getting to be pretty late in the day and I didn't feel like getting wet again. I just love the speed and yes I scream... some of the screams turn into WooHoos eventually.

I kind of wish I had bought some of the pictures that the rides take while your on them just so that you all can see how I make the same face on every ride. It is a face I can only describe as "Happy Terror". Mouth wide and screaming, but eyes smiling and happy. I swear to you, the same face each and everytime. In fact on one ride that I rode alone that face cracked everyone up. It was a ride called "Scream" and it is one of those tower rides, but unlike most of them where your raised to the top and dropped this one is a no warning launch some 200 feet in the air at super speed where you hang for a moment and then dropped. I was smiling at the group, doing the thumbs up, and rock on signs when we launched and apparently my face changed instantly. The next thing I saw from the top of the ride is all my friends laughing their asses off. It was great!

The best ride of the day was a ride called the Poltergeist. You load up on a flat track and even though you see other people get launched you don't really appreciate how fast it is until your on the ride. You sit there and with little warning your launched down a tube at like 30mph into a series of flips twists and turns. No climbing up a hill to fall over the edge to build up speed your launched at top speed right from the start! The best part is the guy next to me, who was a new friend in the group, looked at me and said "Dawg, you're going to scream like a girl on this ride," he knew cause he had ridden it earlier, "but that's okay, so am I" and it was good to know that I would keep most of my rep intact after the ride. At the end of the first time riding I couldn't let go of the bar in front of me and I was literally giggiling hysterically. I couldn't stop. I was afraid and happy at the sametime and it was awesome! We went on it again after it started getting dark and it was ever better!

We rode on the new ride there, Tony Hawk's Big Spin, and the ride actually broke most of the group. Not only does the track spin and twist but so does the cart your sitting in. The idea is to simulate, on a larger scale, all those extreme things tony hawk does on a skate board. The double twisting was too much for some of us in the group that they couldn't ride any other rides after that. I was good to go, but some... not so much.

It was so much fun and I look forward to going again. I need to take all my friends who have never gone on a roller coaster to these theme parks. And even the ones who haven't, I should still take them so they can hear me scream like a little girl!

Next time I think I will buy a picture or two... just so damn expensive!
