Quickly.........
I went yesturday for my orientation at the Marriot at the Renissance center yesturday - really kinda informational and fun. SO much like the Ritz it is unreal. I start there on Tuesday. I called Chef to get my hours for the rest of the week cause considering the Farmer is being sold, I kinda want to keep it to get my severence pay.
~Went for jury duty today, it was ok. I ran into my principal from high school. I didn't recognize him at first, then it came to me. He gave me an update on alot of the teachers that I had when I was there. He still looked the same, though....
~Started doing stuff for Staff Appreciation at school for the kids. I am having so much fun planning all this!! I had to plan the food menu for the week, and the lunch menu for the teachers on Friday. I am doing a chicken salad in a cantaloupe ring with cucumbers or for the teachers that go the vegetarian option, (yeah, that was me. I had to!), they have the option of having a grain salad in a tomato cup. There is also going to be fresh fruit with dip, fresh veggies with dip, rolls and butter and a rice crispie layout of the school for them to eat. The PTA really loved all my ideas, and I think I hooked myself into doing it next year. That is ok, I like doing things like this!! Which reminds me, I have to print out the recipes for the book that are going to be given to the teachers......
