Snowy, rainy, THUNDERY day here in Michigan. (God I love this state!) It's pouring right now, and I've heard 4 clashes of thunder already. So far today I've taken the kids to school, went and picked up some groceries, got my paper and such to start writing down ideas for Sharon's and Jeff's wedding in September, made chocolate chip cookies, Death by Chocolate Cheesecake (for an informal wedding reception tonight), started a broth for Split pea soup, and made the dough for a Pineapple Cream Cheese braid I am making for my mom. I still have to make herb rolls for said reception, a radish salad, spiced-glazed carrot coins, tray of scalloped potatoes, and lemon-thyme baked chicken. Have I told you lately how much I love to cook?????? . I'm still off for the next three weeks, so maybe I can work on getting my own cafe before I have to step foot back into the Farmer. I've been working non-stop on trying to make my dream come true, believe me. I will miss everyone there, but I'm not doing what I love to do there. Yeah, I like interacting with the customers, hell I still might go in there once in awhile, but I feel my talent is being wasted staying there. I've already had a private dinner that I catered, and I am working on a reception for tomorrow night. I hope it will all come together soon........
