Misc. Stuff
It's been forever since I updated, so let me jump right into it.
-I've been back at Farmer Jack for the last 3 weeks now. YAY! *rolls eyes* Same old bullshit, nothing new. It is kinda interesting though. I've worked the past three weekends and had Friday and Saturday off. Then you get this - I'll be nice - other cashier that says she's full time she shouldn't work weekends. So she filed a grievence with the union. Sometimes I just HATE people!!
-A guy I dealt with in the deli came in about a week ago and asked how my plans were coming along, and I told him. He told me to talk to these owners of the bakery downtown and see how they got started and such. So I went to their bakery, talked to the cashier, and the cashier gave me their names. I called and left a message, and Jeff, one of the owners called me back. He gave me all types of good info!! I've done my menu, I'm just adding names to things, I've got my supply list that will last me 3 months, and I have my equipment list. YAY!!!!!!!! I should just wait for the bakery and cafe I USED to work at go under. *laughs* That is the type of place I REALLY want!
-We went out last night and got the kids their costumes. The opening line of a Charlie Brown Halloween says it all, I think it's Lucy that says it - "The idea for halloween is to go as something that is the opposite of what you are." Get this - Caroline is going as a princess, (TOTALLY opposite of what she is) and Elizabeth is going as Morticia, again, opposite. They picked them out, that is what they wanted to be. Actually, Liza wanted to be a vampire, but Rob I think, kinda talked her out of that. This is the first year in 3-4 years that I haven't made my own costume. I don't even think that I'm going to Hallowicked this year. No money, no costume, no Mikey to go with (hint, hint), and no sitter to watch the kids. This is supposed to be really good, too. Twiztid, ICP, someone else..............*mean face*
