GIVE ME MY MONEY, BI**H!!!!
Ok, I've had it with my ex boss. I was due a paycheck for a week even after I quit. Payday was last Friday. I called and asked if he wanted me to come pick it up, or was he going to mail it to me. He said he mailed it. CORRECTION----YOU DIDN'T MAIL SHIT, ASSHOLE, CAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY ME!!! So I worked up the nerve to call him again yesturday, wondering where it was at. He had the little counter-girl call me back and tell me to go to the post office to see where it is if I still don't get it in a couple of days. Too bad I'm three steps ahead of all those idiots. Post office said THEY mailed it, THEY have to track it. Oh, and while they were at it, they need to stop payment on the check and issue me a new one. So there is more money on top of what they owe me. Just because I'm the better chef who actually CARES about the product that I put out. Just because I didn't open my own place and promise the MOON to my employees when I didn't have shit to promise in the first place. Why do you start someone out at almost DOUBLE what the industry wage is, tell them that they will be in charge to an extent, then turn around and give , who should be working at maybe McDonalds, total control over everything. I won't go into her hangups.....LOL. But yeah, in short, I called him back and told him what I already did. must have already been gone because he didn't have her call me back. But he knows I'm right, he's just failing miserably at the restaurant endevor he took on, and he isn't making the money he thought he would, so he doesn't want to pay me what I am owed. Take note - I WILL WIN.
In other news, I'm going back to my old job cause I had a feeling about the last one so I just took a leave of absence. EXCEPT I'm not going back to the deli, thank GOD! Apparently they fired a lady that had been there since they opened (going on 20 or so years now), for stealing in the bakery. I might see if I can't work my way in there. Oh, I start back tomorrow. Now I can see everyone when they come in from the Lotus Pod. Before, being in the deli, the only time I seen them was when they would come back to the cold beer case. I'm never going to leave there, I've come to that conclusion........Remember the job I had at the daycare center? I came across a job listing for it. They are looking for someone who wants to work for $7.15 an hour, drive kids to and from school (caffaures? licence), and on top of all that, make the snack, lunch and another snack. Good luck with that, too...........
I finished my menu, have it all typed onto a disc to be saved, and now I am looking at equipment to put into my dream cafe. I'm working on a couple more items that I'm going to feature - Flax Bread, Peanut Butter Cups, and Butternut Squash stuffed Ravioli. And yes, everything is from scratch, down to the pasta. I'm all proud of myself!! I just have to work on the name, Rob thinks I won't get good clientelle if I name it what I want to name it. It has a Detroit theme to it. All my dishes are named after something in Michigan. That includes soups, salads, sandwhiches, side salads and baked goods. My bread has a certain name, too!!! Ok, let me go gloat in the kitchen to make my magic happen!!
