The above link are script code patches to all SCI older Sierra games, such as Laura Bow, Quest For Glory, King's Quest, Conquest of the Longbow, Space Quest, and Police Quest. The instructions are above, but they're really simple. You just download the zip, and unzip the contents into the game directory.

This is an extremely comprehensive document about how to get QFG to run in DOSBox, but it also applies to any older game, such as Day of the Tentacle or Loom or such. The biggest feature about this article is that it explains in easy to understand terms how to configure DOSBox.
