Day Five: Wave Town and an unexplainable mystery

What did I just see there?

Before I get ahead of myself, I have to write down what came before.  When I woke up, Ralts, Gothita & I got ready and boarded the ferry for Wave Town. Wave Town wasn't as pretty as Berry Town, but it was known for two things: the Battle Tower, and the glorious shopping mall tower.  Guess where I went to first -- and it wasn't the usual fighting,

The girls and I window shopped a good while before deciding on a few things.  Ralts wanted a Genius Wing, which was oddly practical for her, Gothita picked out a mind plate, and I got a party experience share, though I saw a few things that I simply have to return for -- mostly after I get more than enough cash to go on a spree.  Maybe I'll ask Nurse Rayne when I do go.  Milling around the tower for a little bit more, I eventually left and headed towards the Battle Tower, meeting up with Lawrence and the gent on the way.

The Battle Tower is aptly named.  A hodge podge of trainers spoiling for battles.  This time, I got lucky up to the end.  The poor souls before me was mostly flying or water types, and Pichu was my first pokemon out.  I got an disapproving look from the gentleman, but I wisely ran to the pokecenter after just about every battle -- no rules against, so why not? Throughout the tower, I used Gothita or Oddish if Pichu had her fill of an opponent, but that wasn't often.  The final trainer was a girl that looked around my age with short brown pigtails.  She had just a Steelix.  It proved more than a match for Pichu, but thankfully, the last one was Oddish. However, though, Oddish looked a little out of sorts for some reason.  The metal snake was a fearsome opponent, but with most of her opponents, Oddish fell it with Natural Gift.  The trainer thanked me for the battle, and gave me an item to evolve Onix if I get one.  Gothita and Ralts got my attention, Ralts more urgently than Gothita, and gestured at Oddish who started to glow.  Evolution had finally hit her, and I told her that it was ok if she wanted to evolve.  Oddish did, and the little weed became a little budding flower named Gloom.  We congratulated her, and we walked out, and who did we see leaving the shopping tower? Nurse Rayne!  Nurse Rayne seemed to be a heavy shopper, so she might be a costly friend when I "retire" from training, but that'll be a while off.

We wandered around, and met a fisherman and his seemingly unhappy wife.  He asked us if we wanted to have a fishing contest.  Everyone agreed, but Nurse Rayne asked to wait because she had a certain outfit to wear.  While she changed, Pichu indicated if she could fish too.  The fisherman and I raised a brow each, and the fisherman asked her how she could fish.  She proudly let a small thundershock out, and a moment later, an alive magikarp came to the pier and "Karp"ed at her.  I shrugged, and the fisherman shrugged as well, not thinking the Pichu could do well.  Nurse Rayne came back in an outfit that made me facepalm.  A nurse inspired bikini.  I don't know whether she's very confident in her body, or, to say it nicely, a Night Nurse.  We grabbed a rod provided by the fisherman, and casted the lines several times.  The contest came down to two tiebreakers between Pichu and Nurse Rayne, and Nurse Rayne won, getting a super rod, and Pichu got a good rod, which I'm holding on the bottom of my backpack so she could leap and get it.

Afterwards, we came across a rather weird house.  It was a weird colored, jiggled, and looked like it had eyes.  We asked it to let us in, and it .. laughed at us.  Minor attacks made it giggle and jiggle, but its counterattacks nearly fainted Pichu.  I even tickled it, and it tickled me back!  I jumped back and was mostly out of it.  If a house tickled you, wouldn't you jump and scream like I did? .. maybe more? *light blush*  What came next took the cake and took me totally out of the rest of the day.  Nurse Rayne sent out Sudowoodo, and the super tree pokemon, hers is five to ten feet bigger than normal sudowoodo, connected with the house.  In the next second, the house picked itself up and ran across the water behind it, fearing for its life, our blank faces followed it for a few moments. I had to quickly flee myself for a reason I'd rather not say before I looked for the others.

Turns out Lawrence himself took his leave too because he was missing when I found the gent and Nurse Rayne at the gym, looking for the leader who was not there.  She was enjoying the lake or pond by the gym upon one of her pokemon -- she turned out to be a water trainer.  I stayed for the first fight, then just stayed at the pokecenter while Nurse Rayne went back out.

I feel kind of unsafe here because of that house, but Nurse Joy assured me that the pokecenter was very safe.  I don't know.  I do know, though, that I'll be leaving here as quickly as I can.
