Geez, Ralts has no self control, unlike Gothita.
I woke up and decided to head to the Pokeshop before heading out, luckily for Lawrence. He had decided that Gym battling wasn't his thing, so I was his way to the second town in this glorious region, Berry Town. After getting a few battles in at Magrathea, of course, netting me Pichu, & Oddish.
Oddish was at home here -- trees, flowers, and bushes of every kind grew here, and I let her walk as Lawrence, the gent & I wandered around. We ended up at a house whose lights were flickering for some reason. When the door was opening after us knocking, our senses were assaulted by loud music, strobe lights in the darkness, and glow in the dark BUGS. Ick. I Will tolerate only one bug at a time -- whatever one I choose to be the experience funnel wielder. Weird little descriptor that, but totally what Lawrence's magikarp is. I decided to grin and bear it and have nincada with me because I heard an interesting rumor about its evolution. Seems like I got off topic there. The master of the house was a .. what was the term? raver, I think. He had glow in the dark makeup and while us humans went to talk to him, Ralts, the beautiful evolution of little Lunette, and a few of Lawrence's pokemon wandered or was let out to enjoy the rave. The master, whose name escapes me, had a rather comfortable life just partying. His income? A queer little plant guarded by a parasect. Its berries had an unique property of making the pokemon glow in the dark.. A little pricey, or so I thought, so I declined. However, Ralts was incessant in her wanting of the berry. I had to pick her up after bidding my farewell to the master.
A few minutes after leaving that house, we headed down a street and saw several large trucks pass us. On one side was the cause, a berry distribution center. The opposite side of the street of that was a little grove of berries. Ralts sped off down that way, causing me and Gothita to hurry after her, and, I learned this moments later, the guys had followed. That little scamp Ralts was picking berries off the bushes! Gothita smacked her hands and I scolded her some. I had to stop in the middle because I jumped upon seeing "green tentacles" fly towards us. Thankfully, though, it was just a group of the bulbasaur evolutions picking and gathering berries; so, the "tentacles" I saw were just vines picking up what Ralts had dropped. While we were marvelling at the bulbasaur evolution at work, Ralts had asked an Ivysaur something and had sped off. When we caught up to her again, she was trying to open a door. Unfortunately for her, she only got an office's location. The poor woman inside was hard at work, but didn't mind some stupid questions from kids. We thanked her for her time and excused our intrusion, and I picked up the runner and left for her local store.
I was utterly amazed at the sheer number of berries available for sale. I held a firm grip on Ralts and let Gothita browse the wares. I got an introduction to the berries by the gent as he bought an oddly named berry. Gothita got my attention and pointed at a jar of berries of many colors. Gent said if I was going to get her that, I needed to get Ralts what she wanted -- a berry from the party house aka Rave berry. I had to agree with that, sadly. I got Gothita her berry, a Roygbiv berry, and watched the gent give his grimer a BB berry, and saw the reason for the name. The grimer had not change height, but its ooze .. sucked up? firmed up? I can't really describe it other than inside of a purple pile of ooze was a little woman oozing some with ... womanly assets that could rival my own.
I let Gothita have hers, and her dress changed from black to blue, her legs, though I guess she had tights or something on because they turned white, and her hair turned about as yellow as mine. Her bows, though, stayed the same bright white. I swallowed and returned to the party house, which, strangely enough, was just next door. I got Ralts' berry, and I guess Lunette, or Lucine as the gent said her form was, wanted one because the gent followed suit. Ralts got her berry, and sadly flickered like a broken bug light, but I guess its age dependent as Lucine got hers, clapped her hands, and glowed where and how she wanted to.
I had Oddish at a rather high level, so I went to the Gym with her and Pichu. I didn't know how good I'd be, but I banked everything on Oddish's Natural Gift, and got the highest berry I could that gave her a fire effect. The Gym Leader was a very pretty girl named Dandy who must have loved her Meganium, seeing as her outfit copied the pokemon's look. I know how she feels. Pichu did not do much against the grass pokemon, but Oddish held her own, and waited until Natural Gift dropped her opponents. Afterwards, I went towards a house that wound out to be Dandy's. She invited us back, and she was very happy to see Oddish . She gave my pokemon some Grass Trainer affection, and let Oddish play in her flower garden as most of her pokemon were in the garden with it. She and I had a pleasant chat. I eventually steered it to the pokemon that "planted" hers. I asked her about Oddish's final forms, and what she felt about them. She said it was up to me, but Vileplume -- the leaf stone evolution, was powerful and could learn poison moves, but Bellossom -- the sun stone evolution, was weaker, but looked prettier, plus it lost the poison half of the evolution. Even though it'll weaken her some, I think I know what I want to do.
When we left her, Nurse Rayne was at the berry shop. After asking her to join us, we went to Magrathea to do some more battling. The daily pokemon was a Riolu, and Nurse Rayne, the gent, & I each wound up to turn in two, getting us 10000 yen a piece. We went to the mountain, and Nurse Rayne spotted a new cave ... THIRTY FEET UP. Luckily for us, Lawrence went looking and found an onix to help us get up. We explored it to no end and wound up in a dip where an aviary was. Flying types were at home, if you're lost. At this point, the nincada started molting. Gothita ran behind my legs as I squatted to watch -- what I wanted to see was happening. When Nincada molted to evolve into Ninjask, something happened to its discarded husk. It gathered itself, and started to move. Its wings spread out and an halo appeared over its head. I pointed my pokedex at it, and the pokedex said it was a Shedinja, a bug/ghost type pokemon. I offered it a pokeball, and it simply hit the ball, letting itself in. A pokemon becoming two, fascinating. I put Ninjask its ball, and put two together after pulling out a marker and putting a circle on Shedinja's.
We stayed there a while, and a very peculiar event was happening at the center: a mandibuzz was leading a group of mostly water pokemon in a weird circular dance around a stump. It seemed familiar for some reason. I lucked out and the Mandibuzz understood english and answered me when I asked if there was another way out. It pointed its wing in one direction and continued to orchestrate with the other. I curtseyed and led myself and my pokemon out of the race, then called the others over. We wandered around a good while more before we got tired. Luckily, the gent made a map, and we made our way out and down the pokemon.
Returning to the gate, we turned in our pokemon, and we split up, each headed to different towns. Me and the girls -- my pokemon, returned to Berry Town. I had some things to do concerning a mouse and two needy little girls
