Another kick ass run today! Well, another run that kicked my ass today. But in a good way. Also, super excited for dinner with folks tonight.

So, I promise I'll stop talking about this soon cause it has to be getting old, but I'm still trying to wrap my brian around what's going to be happening to me in the next few weeks. Basically, I have my first day (out of two) of orientation at Universal tomorrow, and that's when I get my ID tag and become an OFFICIAL "Team Member" (what they call ALL Universal employees. It's pretty lame, but Disney had already stole "cast member", so...). I'm trying to sort it all out and it seems like everything I wanted is slowly sort of coming true in this majestic and awesome way.

Basically, my whole life all I've wanted was to live in some sort of fantasy world, and once I started reading Harry Potter, much of that fantasy world took place there. But, if I had to stay here in boring old reality without magic powers, I wanted to be an actor. Because, then they might pay you to pretend to have magic powers. So.

1. I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT TABLES ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. I'm finally, finally, getting paid to do what I love: Act. I love acting, I love it every second I'm doing it, and I can't think of a better job in the whole world.
3. I'm getting paid to act like a wizard. In a world created to precisely resemble Harry Potter's.

And I know, I KNOW, eventually the cool factor will wear off and it will become a "job." But I don't really care about that right now. Right now it seems like dreams are coming true, and I can't really understand why because I am a terrible, selfish person who doesn't deserve a single bit of it. But I'll take it. They can put me in Slytherin with all of the other selfish jerks! It'll be a party :)

Mugglenet.com is putting up more and more construction photos almost every day that make me drool with anticipation. This quote from one of the links makes me smile like a loon:
"But there was a lot of people-originated buzz - folks peeking through the fence and general chitchat filled the air. “Those guys are so lucky,” one kid announced. “Why?” asked his friend. “Because they’re working on Harry Potter."

Here is some of the latest!
