what i do.
update: fourth of july started out as a slow-paced, lazy sort of nothing day and escalated into a pretty cool firework laden holiday. my family bbq'd some chicken and kabobs (yummy...baby likes) and all us kids (brittany, lacy, adam, becky, chris, and me) sat around out back and munched on things and laughed. we made an impromptu trip to the firework stand and picked up a few things (SNAKES!!! party pack, ha!) for the evening and lit fireworks when it got dark. afterwards, deskin and i got ready and went to a huge block party in cypress/buena park that had tons of illegal fireworks and even more drunk people. we met up with his friends zach and greg and his girlfriend and just talked, watched fireworks, and they drank beers (jealous!). afterward, we headed to zach's house for a midnight bbq. all in all, it was a pretty lovely holiday. i just sort of felt a little wistful when everyone was guzzling down drinks, you know, the usual.
in babyland: it kicks, turns, twists incessantly now. i love it! my boyfriend and i are constantly placing our hands on my belly to feel our little one move around in there. i sing to it a lot. mostly silly radio stuff like alicia keys, rhianna, a little baby bash. he says that if our baby comes out wanting to constantly freak that its all my fault since i sing sexy songs to it...haha. practically every night before bed he raps his set to our baby and constantly tells it to crave certain foods that he wants. its very cute and i'm very happy. just a few more months of growing huger than ever until we get to hold our baby...totally worth it.
life is good. boring sometimes, but good.
