183!! This "eating well and exercising" stuff works, who knew? And to be honest, I'm "cheating" with all the goodies at work.
So I read the potential combination problems of omeprazole and citalopram - and they're bad. "MAJOR" - font color red - BOLDED type of bad. So bad I wonder why the HELL no one said anything before this as I've been on both of them since that time I thought I was having a heart attack. You know - WHEN I WORKED AT ELDERHOSTEL. The potential side effects include things like seizures, dizzy spells, arrythmia, heart problems. I refill my meds 4 times a year - and each time they are just handed over to me, in the same bag, the paperwork not saying anything. Doesn't that feel WRONG?
I'm just slightly bitching - after everything that's happened to me, I know damn well it's my responsibility to be informed and to be my own advocate. I check on these things for my mom, and for my kids - but I didn't check this. I let my guard down because freaking omeprazole is OTC - it's Nexium or Prilosec (can't remember which) - I just get it prescribed because it's cheaper.
It's scary, and I'm kind of disgusted. =(
I just read an article going around on Facebook about the CT shootings, written by a mom who has a son who is battling mental illness and she's frightened of him and for him - well written and very insightful and thoughtful. Then I made the mistake of reading the comments that follow, and dear GOD I'm disturbed and disgusted. Humanity can really suck, can't it.
Kelsey called to find out how her fish are - I said fine, I just fed them - they REALLY like to eat, huh? They're more active than my fish. She goes "Yeah, they know when the light turns on they get fed". I told her I had the light on all day - and she goes "Oh - well, they usually don't even wake up till mid to late afternoon".

Got invited to join a guild on SWTOR yesterday - so hey, why not, joined, even though I'm fumbling around in the game. It took less than 30 mins before I had the guy I was partying with asking me relationship advice. Turns out he was 16. Do I just OOZE "let me listen to your problems", or what? Nice enough kid, till I logged in later to see him in General chat spouting racist jokes. THIS is why I'll play this game for free, for a couple of hours here and there, and be more than happy. People. Ick.
