Need to get bird food
The birds are swarming the empty bird feeders. Going to the mall early today, so I'll just grab it then - I do love sitting on the couch watching all the birds - we have HUGE woodpeckers this year that we've never had before. All the gorgeous yellow finches are gone though.
Nice day with Tyler yesterday - waited around for the fridge guy to show - he arrived 1/2 hr before the end of the window they gave me. He has to come back - it looks like there's a problem with the evaporator that does the auto defrost, and a drain that is clogged, so water backs up and freezes around the fan and then the fan finally burnt out. =( He is thinking Dec 26th - but the problem is that I have to defrost the fridge the day before - and we have a FULL fridge on Xmas.
After he left, Tyler came food shopping with me, and we hit a couple of other stores, including spending far too long at the comic book store. Then he helped me stack wood, and we played Star Wars (woot - level 13 - speccing out as healer, because I always do, but also because healers get parties like THAT). Kelsey came home around 5 to bring home her fish, do laundry, have dinner, and get her rental books home in time to get them in the mail.
She was in a great mood - and I asked about how her roommate was, and she said "OK. It's not like I sleep there a lot anyhow". I didn't prod, because she wasn't saying anything more. Then we were talking about her trip to CA the week after Xmas, and how bummed she is cause she was goign to visit one of her friends there, Eddie - but Eddie is coming back to MA the day before she gets to CA - oh and just so I know, he's more than a friend. I got confused, so asked a little more - turns out he's in her graduating class at SSU - he's a hockey player (oh gee, is that why her Facebook wall is suddenly full of event noticies about Thursday night hockey?? They met when she was a cheerleader for hockey - oh and WAIT! "I LOVE Hockey, what do you mean I don't like sports, mom???") - he has an apartment just off campus - he is goign to turn 22 soon - he took a year off before he came to college - he likes to surf and be in and around the ocean.
So I'm guessing that solves the not sleeping there comment. And I realized that her Tumblr feed went from angst and hope and romantic "what if" quotes to "HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY" quotes within the past few days.

Good for her. About damn time someone figured out how amazing and beautiful and wonderful she is, and how lucky they'd be to be someone she loves. <3
He better not screw with her.
Needed to get prescriptions refilled - I only take 2 - and had a back and forth with my doctor (I so LOVE that my doctor's office has its own iPhone App that lets me get at all my health history, meds, AND email my doctor directly and get an answer really quickly) - she wants me to wean off the Omeprazole - apparently being on acid inhibitors long term is a bad thing, and with my history she wants me to get off it. Plus - they note it has BAD interactions with the anti-depressant I take to control the seratonin levels (I wonder - has that changed since the tumor came out??) and she is shocked I havent' had a problem yet. I haven't looked to see what that bad interaction is, cause I don't need to know - I'm taking myself off the other pill slowly like she said. YAY!! ONE prescription?? How healthy am I?? <3
