But still amazing -
artificial heart transplant keeps a guy alive while they wait for a donor.
Going to pack up for my college/sorority reunion. Nervous but excited. Been jumping back and forth, actually totally chickened out yesterday when the girl...LOL girl....woman now...that I'm driving up with cancelled and so did I, but that changed back yet again late last night and I'm off to Plymouth at noontime today.
Kelsey's interview yesterday at the Aquarium went well, she thinks - actually, she doesn't know, but she has my sense of not doing as well as she does, so I'm betting it went really well - and even if it didn't, the practice she just got is awesome. They told her she should have applied for an internship in the shark area, but because of her college schedule she can't this semester - so she's hoping this volunteer thing comes through to get her started and get a foot in the door.
Pixie's blood test came back showing no signs of Cushing's Disease. Which means we don't know what's up with her liver - the numbers that are elevated are associated with bile, so it could be something up with her gallbladder - or she could just be "old". LOL. An ultrasound is next - sometime next week, had to reschedule the one for today.
Next week is Becker College orientation! AUGH!
