Took Pixie to the vet yesterday. She gained half a pound, yay. He checked her eyes and verified that they are completely clouded with cataracts now - she probably has 5% of her vision, and it's all "contrast" - shadows and light. Said it will take her a week or two to get comfortable and make her "mental map" of the house.
Took her blood, and I left, waiting for the call to see where she's at, and what we should change the dosage to.
He called last night but we were out, and he didn't leave a message. He always leaves a message.
I called to get the number, and the vet tech noted that the vet wants to talk to me, and he'll call me back. But he hasn't yet.
*sigh*
What are the chances he's waiting to say "She's at 180, we've stabilized it!"?
